They're not bad until the seeds start to blow aray and leave you with a lawn full of stalks and leaves that chock out the grass. But other than that, they're nice. Yellow too.
LOL. Well, I see my reputation precedes me. Wow, your pictures are fab and your dandies look very healthy. They are the BEST FOOD! (and free) (and yes, you can make wine, too..although I haven't, but Laura, blog Goldfinches and Fiber, is going to give me some of hers that she has brewing.) After they've bloomed, they are awfully bitter, but the greens are one of the most nutritious foods out there! I love to saute them with onions and put them in omelets or on a sandwich with smoked meat...the possibilities are endless. You can still harvest them again after they have bloomed. Cut them just below the soil line and let them grow back -- then harvest them like that before they form flowers and enjoy. There are lots of websites with dandelion recipes...google is your friend!
Much better than putting horrible chemicals on the lawn. Eat them instead!
You need Norma's dandelion-greens recipe. She sautes them, or puts them in a salad, or something. And doesn't Passeriform Laura make dandelion wine? Possibilities, possibilities. ;-) Maybe you could build on that and invent a dandelion martini or something. ;-)
Whoa, you have so many!

They would be great if they didn't make me sneeze so much.
I love to look at them, just on the side of the highway.
And remember- sunflowers are weeds too.
:)

They do make for very pretty photos, though...

They are wild flowers. I have a whole garden of them. Um, on three sides of the house.
And I wouldn't eat 'em if you paid me but I'm also claiming they're vegetables *g*

I love dandelions! No one can convince me that they aren't wildflowers.

Hmmmm. I actually think they are pretty. Until they get to the seed-head stage.
