Bag 'n' Trash Talkin'
cathi, cathi, cathi..... like a good steeler's fan, you're talkin' trash on my patriots. 3 years ago when the pats beat the steelers in the AFC championship game, steeler fans had already been booking their flights to the super bowl. now they're printing up super bowl t-shirts. not so fast.
the berger may be rookie of the year, but my pretty boy QB and his patriots kept peyton manning, the NFL MVP for 2004, to 3 points last sunday. the steelers barely managed a win against the jets in overtime. the jets, a team that the patriots beat twice this season. remember, football is played by a team. not by a quarterback.
anyway, a box of yarn is definitely in the future, but it may be coming to new england, if tedy bruschi has anything to say about it.

Since I'm a big NFL fan, I'll be watching both games with interest.
Do and Cathi have a wager going? I love it when you can combine football and needlework.

We'll see how Sunday goes.... I can't watch the game 'cause La's got a show.... that might help your team out a bit, eh?

Ow! I suppose I deserve it, for my post yesterday. Saturday's game was ridiculously scary, but I am feeling good about Sunday night. I do have the very lucky Rachael rooting for the good team, so I'm feeling pretty strong....
PS- It's too bad that Brady doesn't seem to share the team sentiment, but I'll be sure to spread the news to the 6 Pro Bowlers on the Steelers. That article was grade-A, number one propaganda. And unselfish? Did Brady donate his paycheck to the tsunami relief, like Ben did?
